Councillor Community Fund (YCCF) is now OPEN for applications for 2024/2025
Do you run (or wish to nominate) a small project making a big difference in our local community? Each County Councillor has £5,000 of funding per year to support residents and community organisations to deliver activities that benefit local people in their neighbourhoods. This funding is known as Your Councillor Community Fund (YCCF).
Last year the Fund supported over 380 community projects (both revenue and capital) across all Surrey districts and boroughs, totalling £404,330.
Some of the projects funded last year included:
- Revitalising local parks and playgrounds
- Funding sports equipment for local clubs
- Launching youth mentorship or mental health programmes
- Supporting village fetes
- Creating new green wellbeing spaces
Applications are open until January 2025
