Spelthorne Borough Council has opened an application window for NEW claimants of the Household Support Fund as part of Spelthorne Borough Council’s commitment to supporting our most vulnerable households.
Successful applicants will receive a one-off payment of £50.
Residents who have successfully applied previously and continued to receive their qualifying benefits will automatically receive a £50 payment into their bank account by the middle of July.
Those paid by cheque will receive their payment in due course in July.
Please note, there is a limit of one payment per household.
Regarding this type of support, the expectation is that the HSF should primarily be used to support households in need with food, energy, and water costs.
In order to qualify for this payment, households must receive one of the following benefits:
- Universal Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Job Seekers Allowance
- Income Support
- Employment Support Allowance (Income related)
- Pension Credit
