Knapp Road: Traffic Light Equipment Replacement Works

What: SINGLE LANE CLOSURE northbound on Station Road (near the junction at Knapp Road)
When: 2 September
Duration: approx. 2 weeks
Where: Knapp Road, Ashford
Why: Replacing the traffic light equipment on Church Road (junction with Station Road) as it has become obsolete and is in a poor condition.
Who: This work will be carried out by Surrey Council Contractor, Yunex.

Surrey Highways will be replacing the traffic light equipment on Church Road (junction with Station Road), as it has become obsolete and is in a poor condition. Surrey County Councils contractor, Yunex will be carrying out these works on SCC’s behalf.

The work will take place from 2 September 2024 for approximately 2 weeks.

A road closure will be in place on Knapp Road. A single lane closure will be in place northbound on Station Road (near the junction at Knapp Road)

Please Note: The work is weather dependant and can be delayed by bad weather or other factors. Please look at Surrey Highways information boards on site for date changes. Please talk to a member of staff on site if you need help – they are keen to deliver the work with minimal disruption to you.
