Please be advised emergency works are being carried out by Cadent Gas outside no. 60/62 Fordbridge Road, Ashford. Expected to be completed by 14th August, 2024
These works are being carried out for an essential and immediate repair to a gas escape in the footway and carriageway. Two-way signals with manual control during rush hours are in place to ensure traffic does not back up to junction with Church Road roundabout with Stanwell Road.
Please Note: The duration for any ‘immediate’ activity, such as a gas leak, cannot be initially challenged upon receipt of the permit. However, Surrey Highways do realise unplanned works of this nature can cause inconvenience and are liaising with the utilities company for updates on the progress as and when necessary.
