Please be aware that Surrey Highways have a provisional for the delayed overnight works on Feltham Road, Ashford to install raised tables, road cushions and a pedestrian crossing as part of Surrey Highways road safety scheme.
When?
26th May-14th June
Between 8pm and to 6am
Where?
Feltham Road will be closed from the junction with Exeforde Avenue to outside No. 216
Why?
Traffic calming measures including new raised tables and cushions and new ped crossing
Sometimes plans must change, often due to bad weather or problems on other works in the same programme which can have a knock-on effect. Please check the information boards on site for date changes.

Please talk to a member of Surrey Highways staff on site if you need help – they are keen to deliver the work with minimal disruption to you. They will ensure that you can access your homes, schools and businesses providing it is safe to do so.
Parked Vehicles
It is essential to keep the road free from parked vehicles to enable the work to proceed as planned.
The work is weather dependant and can be delayed by bad weather or other factors.

Surrey County Council received 191 responses during the statutory consultation period (1st November to 29th November 2024) on the proposed traffic calming proposals in B377 Feltham Road, Ashford.

- 59 (31%) objection
- 28 (15%) ‘other’ and/or ‘neutral’
Your objection(s) have been considered by the Highway Engagement & Commissioning Manager in consultation with the Divisional Member County Councillor Joanne Sexton under delegated authority.
The proposed traffic calming scheme will go ahead as per the proposals originally set out by Surrey County Council.
