Fine milling is an innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective highway maintenance solution that replaces the need for a new asphalt surface now and for the foreseeable future. The fine milling process removes the old failing asphalt surface, then refurbishes the largely solid original concrete road beneath.

Monday 27 October for 7 working days, Monday to Friday
Where?
The extents of works are Brownrigg Road to Knapp Road.
Why?
Following works on Village Way and Knapp Road, Ashford and to continue with Surrey’s Fine Milling Programme, they will be returning to complete the jointing, kerbing and lining works.
Sometimes plans must change, often due to bad weather or problems on other works in the same programme which can have a knock-on effect. If anything changes with the details of these works, we will pass o any updates from Surrey County Council.
